Michael Vick Signs 2 Year Deal With Eagles

Michael Vick has returned to the NFL and just signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. There will be a news conference Thursday morning to announce his signing.

Vick was the No. 1 draft pick in 2001, and once the highest-paid player in football. But he has not played since 2006 when his career came tumbling down. He was convicted in August 2007 of conspiracy and running a dogfighting operation, sentenced to 23 months in federal prison and suspended indefinitely by the NFL.

But after serving his time and being released from home confinement July 20, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell conditionally lifted Vick’s suspension, allowing him to sign with a team.

The Eagles will play Vick’s prior team, the Atlanta Falcons, in Week 13 (Dec. 6)

Unfortunately it does not look like he will be in Madden NFL 2010 yet but don’t rule out the possibility of a downloadable addition in the future.

Chris Brown & Rihanna was at the Los Angeles Lakers vs the Orlando Magic game in Orlando last night. They were sitting on opposite sides on the same row under the basket.

Michael Vick Released From Prison

Michael Vick was released from prison today to serve 2 months of home confinement. He will return to professional football as soon as September if the NFL reinstates him.

Until then Vick will work at a Newport News construction firm and he has agreed to participate in a documentary for $600,000.
