Michael Vick Signs 2 Year Deal With Eagles

Michael Vick has returned to the NFL and just signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. There will be a news conference Thursday morning to announce his signing. Vick was the No. 1 draft pick in 2001, and once the highest-paid player in football. But he has not played since 2006 when his career came tumbling down. He was convicted in August 2007 of conspiracy and running a dogfighting operation, sentenced to 23 months in federal prison and suspended indefinitely by the NFL. ...

Michael Vick Released From Prison

Michael Vick was released from prison today to serve 2 months of home confinement. He will return to professional football as soon as September if the NFL reinstates him. Until then Vick will work at a Newport News construction firm and he has agreed to participate in a documentary for $600,000. [CNN]
